Acton Beauchamp is a rural parish in the county of Herefordshire,  situated on the Herefordshire/Worcestershire border. It is surrounded by the neighbouring parishes of Bishops Frome, Evesbatch, Stanford Bishop and the Worcestershire parish of Suckley.

Acton Beauchamp has a population of approximately 150.   Years ago,  the majority of people were involved mostly in agriculture and worked on the local farms. Today, although farming is still a major industry in the parish,  many people now commute to their place of work in the cities or have come here to retire.

The community of Acton Beauchamp is served by the local church of St. Giles. The church, with it's Norman tower and Georgian chancel and nave, is positioned at the top of a hill which lends itself to amazing views of the Herefordshire countryside.

Stanford Bishop lies three miles south-east of Bromyard, with a population of approximately one hundred. It is an agricultural area, with fine loamy soil good for crops and fruit growing.

The Herefordshire House together with the Village Hall close by; are useful community assets for all the nearby parishes. The church of St. James dating from the 13th. century, sits on the top of a small hilltop, surrounded by it's circular churchyard.

Evesbatch parish enjoys a picturesque setting for approximately 22 dwellings. There are fishing lakes and the church of St. Andrews, originating from the 12th. century, which was renovated by the Victorians with seating capacity of between 50 - 60 persons. The area is mainly agriculture.
